Charter Details:

The Smoker Yacht is located in Slip 24 and departs at 5:00 a.m., returning at 4:00 p.m. The trip runs approximately 40 miles out to the Gulf Stream, offering a stunning sunrise on the way.

Fishing conditions vary, but guests can typically expect opportunities to catch:

• Mahi Mahi

• Trophy Billfish such as Blue, White & Yellow Marlin (peak season: May-June)

The "Smoker" is a 58’ custom Carolina charter boat, built right here on the Outer Banks by Irvin Forbes. In 2016, she became the first of our fleet to forego the traditional paint schemes and techniques in favor of the body wrap technology used in stock car racing.

The "Smoker" is a perpetual project of excellence, flaunting an impressive salon, which undergoes updates and makeovers often to provide anglers all of the comforts of home, no matter the season or temperature. The Smoker is also equipped with Starlink, giving you access to wireless internet in the Gulfstream.

She is powered by twin Caterpillar C-15 engines with a cruising speed of 25 knots. You will enjoy a warm cabin on those wintry days or a dual air-conditioning system to cool you after the heat of a battle out in the cockpit. You can get your chew on in the ample food-prep area with a microwave and enjoy a well-appointed media center, or you may enjoy simply lazing about in the comfortable seating area.

Take your seat in one of the 3 fighting chairs in the cockpit and gear up with your choice of rods, spinning or one of our heavyweight 80-130 class rods & reels. Adrenaline junkie? Grab some of the light tackle on board and hook up a chunker!!
