Forty miles offshore. The Gulf Stream. A 58-foot custom Carolina charter boat. A sunrise on open water, rods in hand, with the chance to hook yellowfin tuna, mahi mahi, or a trophy blue marlin. This is the Outer Banks Deep Sea Charter — one of the most thrilling prizes in the Medinah Sportsman's Mega Raffle, valued at $5,200.

The package covers everything: round-trip airfare for two from Chicago O'Hare to Norfolk, a two-night hotel stay, a two-day car rental, fish cleaning, and a tip — plus a full-day charter aboard the legendary "Smoker" with Captain Brynner Parks. The Smoker departs Slip 24 at 5:00 AM and runs until 4:00 PM, giving you a full day on the water with one of the most experienced captains on the Outer Banks.
The boat itself is something else. Built right on the Outer Banks by Irvin Forbes, the Smoker is equipped with twin Caterpillar C-15 engines, three fighting chairs, heavy and light tackle, dual air conditioning, a media center, Starlink internet, and an interior that would feel right at home in a luxury lounge. Captain Brynner will have you dialed in on whatever's running — and if you're there during peak billfish season (May–June), you may be fighting something that tests every bit of your strength.

Whether you're a seasoned offshore angler or a first-timer looking for the experience of a lifetime, this charter delivers. It's not just a fishing trip. It's a story you'll tell for years.
Already dream of fishing closer to home? The regular raffle features the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 Touch Fish Finder, Redington Bass Rod Field Kit, and the BOTE WULF Inflatable Paddle Board — all up for grabs with a $20 ticket.

For the deep sea charter, your entry is just $50. The draw is September 19 — don't miss your shot.
