AEDs at the Shrine Center

Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are now at the Shrine Center. There are now two in the building. One is located in the rotunda by the main entrance just past the coat room. The second one is in the member's hallway right by the doors (across from the Music Room) that lead into the Pyramid Room of the Oasis. All the boxes that house the new AEDs have an alarm that will sound when the door has been opened. These will be accessible at all times. They are very easy to operate and are so automated that anyone can operate one. Also, keep on the watch for the next CPR-AED class at the center. The last class was sponsored by the Medinah Fire Unit with Chief Rick Gallas as the lead class instructor. It was an excellent class and covered everything you will need to know. He says there are more classes coming. Let's face it, with our aging Shriner population, more nobles need to learn CPR and how to operate our new AEDs. This could be your chance to know how to help a noble in need.

Ceremonial on Saturday, October 18, 2014 is STAG.

See you around the center,

Scott W. Sonnenberg

Masonic Business Directory

Nobles,

The Chief Rabban has been given permission to make the Medinah Masonic Business Directory again for 2015.

If you remember, a directory was made in 2010 and was very successful.

It helped find a trustworthy person/business to help you get things done.

Any business that you know, please ask them to advertise in this directory. Many of our brothers own their own businesses so bring this information to your lodges.

We need your help to make this a great Masonic Business Directory. Tell the advertisers this directory will reach over 3300 members of Medinah Shriners.

The size of the booklet is 8 1/2" high by 5 1/2" wide

The cost for a full page ad is $150.00

Half page is $ 75.00

Quarter page is $25.00
Eighth Page is $20.00

Ad Listing Only (no artwork) is $15.00

Remember, no Masonic emblems can appear in the advertising.

You can print the sell sheet from the home page of www.medinah.org

If every Noble gets one ad for this book, it will be great to have for years to come.

Please contact Cal Tazelaar with any questions you may have.

Send your AD CONTRACT with money to Jim in the Recorder's Office.
